To venture beyond the ordinary,
Cross borders,
Climb mountains,
And generate enlightened thinking -
Through captivating imagery
Josie Boulding 2001
Josie Boulding comes bursting through the door, flushed and excited. It can only mean one thing - she just finished another shoot. Never is Josie in a better mood than after a photography assignment. Josie's passion for photography is reflected in her work.
"It doesn't matter what the subject is - a bride and groom or alpine climbers - you can always tell Josie is having a good time when she is behind the lens," says Ryan Stuart, her partner and a freelance writer. "Her expressions are either concentrated or ecstatic. You can tell she just loves her career and that shows in her work."
Josie graduated in 1998 from Western Academy of Photography. Since then she has based her photography business in Courtenay on Vancouver Island, British Columbia shooting weddings, for magazines and fashion. She's also an instructor in the professional photography department at North Island College.
If you're lucky one day she will take your picture. But be careful - you'll never look as good, again.
